Anne’s go-to bedtime drink, Golden Milk is wonderful for bone and joint health.
INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup water 1/8 tsp. turmeric 8 oz. milk 2 tbs. almond oil honey or maple syrup, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Place water and turmeric in a small sauce pan over medium heat.
Stir until smooth and bring to a boil. Continuing stirring until a paste is formed. This will take about 8 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
Place milk and almond oil in a separate sauce pan over medium heat. Heat until the milk just comes to a boil and remove from heat.
Stir the turmeric paste into the warmed milk until the milk becomes completely yellow.
Add honey or maple syrup, to taste. Drink warm.
